The library is the temple of learning, and learning has liberated more people than all the wars in history.”

On March 07, 2016 Touro College Libraries’ Starrett City location re-opened its doors in a new and bigger place, 1344 Pennsylvania Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11239. The move would not have been possible without the help of Mr. Sal Russo. Our new library is full of light and space, with more computers for the students. Professors, students, and myself are enjoying the new place, which offers a completely different environment.
In the afternoons the library become full of professors and student studying, reading, and doing homework. For 16 years the students worked in a small library and are now able to enjoy an amazing and much bigger space that offers many more resources. I don’t have words that describe my appreciation to Mrs. Bashe Simon for giving me this successful opportunity. I’m looking forward to increasing the library circulation and having many more students come visit our library!!
Thank you for your support for opening this beautiful location here in Starrett City.
