Are you a Touro College professor?  Then chances are you’ve published some sort of work, whether it is a book or a journal article.  You may have even had an exhibition of your artwork, or gotten a patent.  If this is the case, we’d like to include your work in the Touro College Faculty Publications Database. The Faculty Publications Database has been around since 2010 and grown exponentially since then.  Currently, there are over 3,500 citations representing the work of Touro campuses from New York to California, as well as the publications of New York Medical College faculty.  Even a number of our librarians are included!  Each fall, the citations from the past year are also compiled into a print book (see the digital version of 2012’s here).

We welcome the following types of publications for inclusion in the database:

  • Abstracts published in scholarly/academic journals
  • Conference/symposium articles in published proceedings
  • Articles in scholarly/academic/professional or trade publications
  • Books (authored/edited)
  • Book chapters (authored/edited)
  • Book/film reviews in academic publications
  • Creative works (poetry, novels, short stories, published plays, art exhibits, musical scores and choreographed dance, audiovisuals)
  • Encyclopedia entries
  • Monographs
  • Patents
  • Published dissertations
  • Test reviews in Mental Measurement Yearbooks
  • Textbooks
  • Translations of literary or scholarly work(s) from and into English

See full criteria here. If you’d like your publications to be included, please use this submission form or contact Project Manager Librarian Carrie Levinson by email or at 212-463-0400 x5244.
