Put in your Pocket & Save it for Later. Apps can Make College Life Easier.

Mobile apps are becoming increasingly popular and offer users a great way to get organized, access resources and improve productivity.  The Touro College App Corner highlights some of the top apps for students and faculty.  There are tons of free apps that cover a variety of functions from research, reading, writing, note-taking, and other essential tools for studying.  Let us know your favorite apps for school and be sure to check out our App Corner!

One App in particular which can be very useful to a busy college student is the Pocket App. With over 12 million users and 1 billion items saved, the Pocket App has been named one of the best for the iPhone and iPad by the App store.


This free application allows users to save articles, videos and more from the web, social media or anywhere else to look at later.  So if your focused on an exam but want to remember to check a profile or blog post later on you’ll have it all in one place with easy access. If it’s in Pocket, it’s on your phone, tablet or computer.  You don’t even need an Internet connection!  Pocket is available for Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, the Web, and any other phone or tablet.  See your saved items in a simple, easy to view layout and Pocket will highlight the best and most relevant content in your list.  Don’t lose track of the interesting things you find by emailing yourself links or letting tabs pile up in your browser.  Just save them to Pocket!  Get more information on this helpful app at https://getpocket.com/.
